Expedition Schooner Travel
A unique sailing experience from 7-14 days
Individuals, families or couples are invited to join the skipper and
share in a great time on board a sailing schooner. RAINDANCER, is a
75 ft. finely crafted teak schooner yacht built in Lunenburg, Nova Scotia,
Canada. Of traditional design and rig, she is thoroughly modern with
up-to-date safety and navigation equipment including extraordinary accommodations
for six guests. RAINDANCER, along with a Captain and a Chef, offers
truly wonderful sailing vacations for people of all ages.
 RAINDANCER,
is a varnished, custom-built classic created by artisans using rare,
exotic hardwoods. Burmese teak, South American Angelique, Lignum Vitae,
Aframosa and select mahoganies, have been utilized to create a truly
beautiful, irreplaceable quality vessel. A pleasure to behold and a
pleasure to sail. She will glide you through crystal clear Caribbean
waters in fine style. RAINDANCER seeks out deserted beaches, the most
amazing swimming and snorkelling and she travels to scenic anchorages
which offer great shore-side exploration and brilliant nightly starlight
displays.
Come aboard RAINDANCER for an unforgettable voyage you'll treasure for
a lifetime. Prior sailing experience is not a requirement. You are welcome
to relax on deck or actively participate in the ship's operation. Do
as much or as little as you wish. RAINDANCER's crew is dedicated to
making each voyage the finest possible experience for all on board.
Shore-side activities and a very flexible schedule allow for plenty
of leisure time with numerous opportunities to sail the vessel, explore

RAINDANCER'S CREW

On board the schooner with Ron and Joanne, the atmosphere is laid-back and casual .
They have sailed RAINDANCER with the icebergs off Newfoundland, the
whales of the Azores, and have made numerous Atlantic crossings.
They have piloted RAINDANCER many times back and forth along the trade wind route of the Windward & Leeward Islands of the Caribbean, and the northern route to Bermuda, the Chesapeake and Canada's Maritimes.
Professional in their approach, they take pleasure in welcoming guests
on board to safely introduce them to the way of life aboard a wooden
sailing vessel.
