The Turkish Style Gulet: 'Fidel'
The gulet "Fidel" was built in 1991 by a Turkish shipyard in Bodrum and went through refitting two years later. After a first sailing period along the Turkish coasts she cruised alternatively on the Sudan and on the Red Sea waters ( mainly for diving safaris) in winter, and along the Greek archipelagos in summer.

This boat is in prime condition and is at an extremely convenient price. The inner disposition of one of the six double cabins, each one with porthole, private bathroom, and independent toilet with warm water, shower and other fixtures. The rear of the boat is fairly wide thus allowing the clients to stay all together for the outdoor meals. Speakers are on the cockpit. The edge instrumentation is more than complete. The GPS (a system of satellite positioning) tells the navigator exactly where the boat is located, at any time.

Home Port
"Fidel" is based for the whole season in Biograd, a quiet port about 35 km South-East of Zadar and 200 km North-West of Split. The yacht incoming guests are normally expected to ferry to Zadar, where they will find their transfer to Biograd, arranged at a very reasonable cost. The cruise to the southern Croatian islands will start from Biograd. Ferry is available from the Italian ports of Venice, Ancona and Pescara.

One Week Itinerary with Cruise Menu

Saturday
Leave Biograd at 5 pm for Zut. Island , archipelago of Kornatj, bay of Hiliaca.
SUPPER ON BOARD (included in the price for half board). Mussels in marinade. Spaghetti with seafood, Biete, potatoes in dalmata and mixed salad. Fresh fruit and coffee.

Sunday
BREAKFAST: Coffee, tea, milk, cookies, bread, marmalade and eggs. Transfer to the bay of Talascica, Dugi Otok, and excursion to the "Faraglioni"
APERITIF: with gherkins, olives, salted chips, anchovies.
LUNCH: Little meatballs and mashed potatoes, string beans with butter , mixed salad. Fresh fruit and coffee.
Excursion to the salt lake. Transfer to the village of Vruglie, Kornatj Island (Isole Incoronate)
SUPPER ON BOARD: Octopus salad with potatoes , broth of "gronco" and crab with a type of thick porridge made with maize flour. Fruit and coffee. Transfer to the Village of Vruglie, Kornati island for the night.

Monday
BREAKFAST: as per Sunday - upon request also yogurt, corn flakes, etc. Transfer to Piskera.
LUNCH: spaghetti in Bolognese sauce with grilled capsicum and salad. Fresh fruit on request and coffee.
Transfer to the little fishermen's village of Prvic, to stay overnight on dock.
SUPPER ON BOARD: Rice with squid and sea slugs, mixed fried fish and green salad. Fruit and coffee.

Tuesday
BREAKFAST: as usual.
Transfer to Skradin, National Park of Krka, and explore local rivers and lakes.
LUNCH: Maccheroni, braised beef, "biete" and potatoes, cabbage salad, fruit salad with melon and coffee.
Visit to waterfalls
SUPPER: In a restaurant called Prstaci, where fish is cooked in a very peculiar way. Night in Skradinj.

Wednesday
BREAKFAST, as usual.
Transfer to Sibenik (pop. 35,000 people), and visit the city and cathedral of San Giacomo.
LUNCH: Pasta and beans, perch, peas in butter, mixed salad. Fruit and coffee. Transfer to the island of Tijat.
SUPPER: on board. Rice with fresh cuttlefishes. Sea truffles soup and "veraci" clams; salad and tomatoes. Fruit and coffee. Night in Tijat.

Thursday
BREAKFAST: as usual
Transfer to the island of Kakan
LUNCH : Mussels in marinade, goulash with potatoes , cabbage salad. Fruit salad with "maraschino" and coffee.
Transfer to Tribunj, a beautiful and isolated little village.
SUPPER ON BOARD: Fish broth with dough, prawns in buzara, beans, boiled potatoes , tomatoes. Fruit and coffee.
Night in Tribunj.

Friday
BREAKFAST: as usual.
Transfer to the well known island of Murter.
APERITIF with oysters, anchovies and olives.
LUNCH: Spaghetti with tomatoes and basil, sea truffles soup, beans with hard boiled eggs , green salad with tomatoes. Fruit and coffee.
Transfer to the island of Vrgada, to enjoy a late afternoon immersion. Then transfer to Biograd.
Free supper in a typical local restaurant
Night in Biograd Marina, where the cruise will terminate.
