Best time to visit
The climate in Tonga is cooler and drier between May and November and becomes warmer with the rainy season between December and April. March is the wettest month. In this rainy season the Tongan islands are at risk for tropical storms. The northern islands closest to the equator are at a higher risk of cyclones or hurricanes.

Kapa Island… offers visitors a phenomenal limestone cave, known as the swallow cave. The swallows build their mud homes on top of another like small bird apartments. Below their grotto homes are translucent waters with beautiful coral for snorkeling.
Lisa beach… is a beautiful beach on the quaint island of Mounu, a quintessential South Pacific island. Mounu is known for the beach and the close proximity of nursing humpback whales which gather in the calm waters just off the island.
