A group of friends and I were lucky enough to charter a boat and participate in a flotilla trip through the Greek islands.

Turkey and Greece flotilla sailing | Two-country

Experience the best of two incredible cultures - Turkey and Greece. This popular flotilla combines cruising in Turkey with a taste of the neighboring Greek Dodecanese islands. You will discover just how far east the Hellenistic world extended, wandering through ancient ruins of long lost Greek civilization in modern day Turkey. On the Greek islands of Symi, Tilos and Nisyros swim in emerald green waters and enjoy Greek souvlaki at a taverna. In contrast spend time haggling with merchants at the local shops in Datca and dine on spicy kebabs on the Turkish mainland. The two-country flotilla is the most popular way to sail and see where east meets west.
