Included in the cost of a yacht charter

Equipment and what is included may vary from yacht to yacht – an inventory will be provided with a full quotation for any yacht.

Standard inventory normally includes:

• full cruising area charts and cruising guide or pilot book
• navigational equipment (binoculars, hand compass and course plotting equipment)
• initial full tank of water, fuel and cooking gas
• GPS (plotter)*
• VHF radio
• autopilot
• electric windlass
• wind instruments
• furling or battened mainsail (with lazy lines and sail bag)
• furling genoa sail
• bimini for cockpit shade (racing yachts have a boom awning)
• transom BBQ*
• dinghy
• outboard engine*
• snorkeling equipment *
• cockpit cushions
• standard inventory of galley (cooking and eating utensils)
• standard safety equipment (navigational and first aid)
• hot water
• bed linen and bath towels
• cabin fans*
• FM radio / CD player
• dodger / spray hood*
• berthing fees at home port

Not included:

• air transport
• transfers to and from the yacht
• daily tourist / cruising tax if applicable
• port fees
• travel cancellation / interruption insurance
• outboard engine (unless quoted as included)
• end cleaning of yacht (unless quoted as included)
• provisions
• fuel refill at the end of the charter
• water refills and port fees while on charter
• skipper or crew fees
• one-way fees
• yacht insurance and / or refundable security deposit
• flotilla fees (if you are on a flotilla)
