Performance and ease of handling on the Beneteau 361 comes from the roller furling mainsail and efficient deck layout. Innovation comes to play with the Beneteau 361's newly designed deck and cockpit. The genoa sheet tracks are fitted on the wide sidedecks along the coachroof to make movement easier and safer. Winches are conveniently placed on the cockpit coaming - within arm's reach of the helmsman. An innovative foldaway cockpit table and walk-through transom makes boarding a breeze. Below, the elegant main salon is flooded with light and ventilation. The space flows magnificently and is perfect for entertaining or just relaxing with a few good friends. Features include a port settee that is great for stretching out on with a good book. Or in lieu of the settee, optional "extra-big" chairs are available with a center armrest/cocktail table. The 361's huge head, complete with walk-in shower, boasts dimensions unheard of in boats this length. There is a slatted teak shower seat and plenty of room to stow toiletries. The galley is one of the most seaworthy afloat with lots of counter space and a front loading refrigerator and adjacent icebox. You'll find all the Beneteau hallmarks including hot and cold pressurized water, caned doors for cabinet ventilation and plenty of room to stow cooking gear. A built-in shelf for an optional microwave is a nice addition. A great feature for the navigator is the forward facing chart table with an outboard electronic panel and generous instrument-mounting surface. Charts and navigation equipment can be stowed under the seat and chart table. Available in a two or three-cabin layout, the Beneteau 361 translates quality, performance and comfort into incredible value for the savvy sailboat buyer. |
