Day 1
Friday: Marina Zea Athens | Kea
Embark: 14-15:00hrs. On the way to Kea island sail passed the columns of the Temple of Poseidon 440BC, high up on the promontory of Cape Sounion. Upon arrival explore Kea's port and enjoy a fine dinner at quayside. Depart in the early hours for Delos.
Day 2
Saturday: Delos | Mykonos
Start the day with an optional morning tour of the sacred island of Delos - the largest and most important historic site in the Aegean. This UNESCO world heritage site is an open-air museum of remarkably intact ancient monuments and buildings. In the afternoon, swim at a beautiful bay in Mykonos before sailing into Tourlos port, which is 2 km from Mykonos town. The busiest and most cosmopolitan island in Greece is yours to discover for the evening. Enjoy fine dining and the best night-life in Greece. Overnight in Mykonos.
Day 3
Sunday: Mykonos | Santorini
Arrive in the afternoon in Santorini and take a cable car up to the town of Fira to view the 6-mile round volcanic crater. An optional guided walking tour through Fira's narrow, picturesque streets is offered. A stop is made at the Prehistoric Museum, which houses fascinating artifacts from Akrotiri - rumored to be the lost civilization of Atlantis. An optional excursion to a winery and the beautiful UNESCO heritage town of Oia/Ia is a must. Overnight in Santorini.
Day 4
Monday: Santorini | Rethymnon, Crete
Arriving in the lively port of Rethymnon Crete, take an optional tour to the ancient Minoan Palace of Knossos near the city of Heraklion. Later in the day, depart for Kythira Island. Overnight at sea.
Day 5
Tuesday: Kythira
Enjoy a morning swim stop at Kythira, a lesser-known island gem now becoming a favorite for the Greek island savvy. In the evening explore the picturesque Chora or hilltop town and experience the sleepy charm of this peaceful island. Overnight in Kythira.
Day 6
Wednesday: Kythira | Monemvassia | Nafplion
After an early morning sail to Monemvassia, discover a remarkable medieval fortified town. Explore the unique Byzantine and Venetian architecture and experience the beauty of the sheer natural cliff setting. Depart for Nafplion in the early afternoon, with a short swim stop on the way. Nafplion is impressive with its impregnable citadel, hundreds of feet up, overlooking the Argolic gulf. Wander the old quarter's narrow streets or march up the 1000 steps to the citadel and inspect one of the finest preserved examples of Venetian military architecture. Overnight in Nafplion.
Day 7
Thursday: Nafplion | Hydra | Spetses
Start the day with an optional tour of Mycenae, the walled palace of Agamemnon - the once powerful Achaean king. In the afternoon, depart for the beautiful islands of Hydra or Spetses (weather dependent) and explore these picturesque Venetian port towns. Overnight in port.
Day 8
Friday: Marina Zea, Athens
Disembark: 09:00hrs
