Day 1
Monday: Natewa Bay, Vanua Levu
You will need to fly into Nadi airport and connect with the complimentary domestic flight to Savusavu on Vanua Levu Island. A transfer vehicle takes you on a scenic drive along pristine coastline from Savusavu to Natewa Bay. Upon boarding and checking in,
enjoy a snack and a complimentary foot massage from our onboard spa therapist.
Day 2
Tuesday: Natewa Bay | Tabiang Village, Rabi Island
Rabi Island is one of northern Fiji´s hidden treasures and rich in history and natural beauty. Rabi Island is now inhabited by Micronesian people who were relocated from the equatorial islands of Kiribati after World War II. In the afternoon, you can meet
these unusual people, hear their stories and experience their culture. Micronesians are famous for elaborate and powerful dances.
Day 3
Wednesday: Tabiang Village, Rabi Island | Kioa Island
In the morning we pay a brief visit to Somosomo Village, home to the paramount chief of Fiji's northern islands. At Kioa Island, you can experience the only island in Fiji whose people are Polynesian. Originally from the island nation of Tuvalu, the Kioans
are masters of handicrafts and fishing. Traditional Kioan fisherman wave as they paddle out to sea in their hand-made outrigger canoes. At midday, visit the village and learn from village elders how these people came to live in Fiji. This is a great day to
get wet. Both the snorkel and scuba diving sites are considered the best in all of Fiji. If you dive you can explore the renowned Rainbow Reef region of the Somosomo Straits and if snorkeling you will visit prolific, healthy gardens of coral at The Farm and
Nakawa Point. It also provides great opportunities for non-divers to try a scuba diving class with our dive instructor. In the afternoon explore the Tunuloa Peninsula by mountain bike. You can expect to meet friendly village people as you pass by. Bird lovers
might spot the rare and beautiful Silktail. This small black bird is endemic to the islands of Taveuni and Vanua Levu, and has recently been classified as a threatened species.
Day 4
Thursday: Kioa Island | Cobia Island, Ringgolds
In the morning you are anchored alongside seven tiny atolls far away from the main islands. Known as the Ringgold Isles, each islet is surrounded by a barrier reef that drops off steeply into deep blue sea. Within the reef is a magnificent lagoon, teeming
with marine life of all imaginable colors. You then venture near the stunning island of Cobia - a sunken volcanic crater that has filled with sea water forming a mystic lagoon. In the late morning, you can hike to the summit of the crater. The trail is an
interesting terrain of natural steps formed by large tree roots. The island is home to a handful of wild goats and a large population of fruit bats.
In the afternoon, explore the inside of the crater on a kayak. Many guests describe the feeling of floating around the inside of the crater as sublime, experiencing a mix of geologic power and the supernatural. The crater edges drop steeply from the summit
down to the sea level and the coast varies from mangrove to black volcanic rock. There are excellent opportunities for snorkeling and scuba diving throughout the day. This location usually offers some of the clearest ocean waters on earth. Since the islands
are small and positioned in the middle of the deep sea, the visibility often exceeds 120 feet (36 mt). Eat lunch on a beautiful beach and indulge in a massage as we set up a spa right on the sand. There are four beaches on Cobia Island so it is a great place
to beach comb.
Day 5
Friday: Cobia Island | Bouma National Heritage Park, Taveuni Island | Qamea Island
Taveuni, the garden island of Fiji offers lush rainforests and gushing waterfalls at Bouma National Heritage Park. One of Fiji´s best conservation and ecotourism success stories, the National Heritage Park includes three sets of waterfalls that are great for
hiking and cooling off with a swim. After breakfast, set out on mountain bikes along Bouma Road. You´ll pass several villages along the way. The ride is approximately 45 minutes and includes several hills, making it moderately strenuous. You can opt to take
a van transfer to the park instead of biking. Once you reach the park, the first set of waterfalls is a short 10-minute walk along a nice trail. There is a huge emerald pool, making it an ideal place to relax, swim and enjoy a massage right in front of the
waterfalls. In the afternoon sail to the island of Qamea. Upon arrival visit tiny and remote Togo Village for a tour and a Melanesian cultural performance.
Day 6
Saturday: Qamea Island | Taveuni Island
Part of the Bouma National Heritage Park is the Lavena Coast. This rugged coastline stretches along the eastern side of Taveuni and contains over 100 waterfalls. Begin the day on kayaks launched from a white-sand beach in front of Lavena Village. Paddle leisurely
for 45 minutes along the coast to the Nacawa River. At the river mouth continue on kayak for about five minutes to a beautiful lagoon surrounded by lush rainforest. The lagoon is fed by thee large waterfalls. You can paddle your kayak right into the falls
to cool off.
After a swim at the Nacawa River Falls, paddle back out of the river to a landing site on a black sand beach. From there hike to the Lavena coastal walk. A 20-minute moderate hike brings you to a river lagoon. Cool off and swim across a majestic pool with
two waterfalls emptying into it. On the return hike you will see a variety of beautiful landscapes and vegetation that make the national park such a treasure: rainforests, waterfalls, rivers, white sand beaches and more. Our naturalist guide will point out
some of Fiji´s exotic birds, herbal medicines and important wild crops.
Day 7
Sunday: Taveuni Island | Albert Cove, Rabi Island
We return to the island of Rabi - but this time to the other side. Albert Cove is a beautifully protected harbor featuring one of the finest white sand beaches in the Fiji group. This is a great spot to enjoy an idyllic afternoon kayaking, snorkeling, scuba
diving or enjoying a massage on this spectacular remote beach.
Day 8
