It's been 5-months since the Corona virus pandemic arrived as a force of nature on our doorstep forcing the travel industry to a grinding halt. 

In March, thousands of passengers were stranded overseas, all future bookings were uncertain and as the months progressed, it became clear that 2020 would be the worst year in history for the travel industry. Poseidon Charters is lucky to be a small operation with low overheads, in a good place to ride the storm and over the months, we worked to reschedule clients' trips to 2021 and even 2022; but new bookings for 2020 were obviously none existent. By the end of June, when travel restrictions started to lift in Europe, we were over the moon to welcome our first charter booking for a trip to Greece in 2020 no less! The charter was for a wonderful family, living in Germany who booked a luxury crewed yacht experience sailing aboard Motor Yacht Almaz. The family chartered from Athens 1st-8th August and they have kindly sent us their review of the trip.
