As we see the world slowly starting to move to the new normal living with the COVID-19 pandemic, we are excited that the gates to international travel are very slowly beginning to open.
Due to the travel lockdown, there have been little to no yacht charter departures in any of our destinations since March 2020 but in July 2021, we were thrilled that a family from the United States, based in the Netherlands, were able to sail a stunning new Bali CatSpace yacht for the week. Boarding in Dubrovnik, the family were welcomed aboard yacht Dragonfly for a fun filled week of much needed adventures on the Croatian coast. Poseidon's multi-talented skipper Bruno Kostadina sailed the family to pretty ports of call along the Dalmatian Coast, anchoring each evening for fine dining and nights under the stars!
After so many months and a difficult time for the travel industry, we appreciated this first booking back to business as usual. In the words of Captain Bruno, the week was "phenomenal with a magnificent family; the weather was great and everyone was having fun"

A skippered charter is a the same as a yacht charter, but with a professional skipper onboard. Professional skippers offer much more than sailing the yacht, they are the host to the country you are sailing in and can provide the local knowledge enabling you to really experience the local culture and highlights of each destination. Chartering a yacht with a skipper is a great idea if you are a new or uncertified sailor planning your first yacht charter holiday or an experienced sailor who would like a more relaxing charter experience.
